What we collect

• Without an account: test results and personal bests are stored only in your browser (local storage). We don't receive them.
• With an account: your email address, a username, optional country, and your test results (speed, accuracy, test settings and a summary of mistyped keys).
• Usage data: pages visited, device and browser type, collected through analytics cookies.

How we use it

To run the typing test, save your history, display leaderboards (only if your profile is public), improve the site, and show advertising that keeps the service free.

Advertising and cookies

We use Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies at aboutads.info. Learn more about how Google uses data from partner sites.

Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalised ads or analytics cookies are used.

Service providers

Accounts and results are stored with Supabase. Analytics may be provided by Google Analytics. These providers process data on our behalf.

Your choices

• Make your profile private so it doesn't appear on leaderboards.
• Delete your typing history or your whole account at any time from account settings, or by emailing us.
• Request a copy of your data.

Children

TypeLikePro is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
